Concepcion honors senior citizens

MARIVELES, Bataan – Mayor AJ Concepcion honored senior citizens of this town during the Elderly Filipino Week celebration here on Wednesday.

According to Councilor Tito Catipon, the mayor in his message expressed his profound gratitude to the senior citizens for their productive contributions making what Mariveles is now benefitting the present generation.   

The councilor said the mayor and Vice Mayor Lito Rubia vowed to continue providing beneficial programs and services to them.

The municipality of Mariveles celebrated the event with Trio Singing Contest among senior citizens. This year celebration had theme, “Pagmamahal at Respeto ng Nakababata, Nagpapaligaya sa Nakatatanda”.

Aside from Concepcion, Rubia, and Catipon, Councilor Turing Isip also joined the elderly week celebration.
