Dep-Ed Bataan grants cash gifts to DSPC winners

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – The Department of Education is currently giving cash incentives to the winners of the recently-concluded Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC).

“Recognition siya actually. It’s a form of acknowledgement and incentives to our students since they gave their best efforts,” said Dr. Jessie D. Ferrer, Schools Division Superintendent.

“Hopefully, it will also serve as a reason for them to perform well on the next competition which is the Regional Schools PressCon,” added Dr. Ferrer. As of now, the level of their preparation is still on the school level.

“Binigyan namin ng instructions ang mga teachers to intensify their trainings among the schools plus weekly, magkakaroon sila ng outputs para makita namin yung outputs ng mga bata”, said Ms. Ilynne Samonte, Education Program Supervisor for English.

This year, Ms. Samonte said that Bataan is hopeful in making it on the next level which is the National Schools Press Conference that is slated on January 2017 in Pagadian City, Zamboanga.
