DILG Region 1 officials visit Bataan

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Officials from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 1 visited Bataan yesterday, December 27 for their benchmarking activity.
On behalf of Gov. Albert Garcia, Provincial Administrator Ludivina Banzon and Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) General Manager Charlie Pizarro warmly welcomed the delegation at the conference hall, Bulwagan ng Bayan, this City.
GM Pizarro discussed the programs and functions of the MBDA while Ms. Banzon discussed the journey of the PGB in achieving the ISO 9001:2015 certification through a power point presentation.
Mr. Christian Cordero of the Bataan Public Private Partnership and Investment Center (BPPPIC) discussed the current PPP Projects in Bataan like the ongoing construction of the new Provincial Capitol also known as “The Bunker” and the 1Bataan Integrated Transport System. He also discussed some of the future PPP projects like the Bataan-Cavite Bay Bridge and International Port Terminal. An open forum ensued after the presentations.
