GICC donates P1.8M for Bataan medical missions

MARIVELES, Bataan — The Grand Innovasia Concept Corp. (GICC) recently conducted a series of medical missions to residents of this town and two other municipalities in the first district of Bataan, and to the workers of the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

In partnership with the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), GICC held the medical and dental missions as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program which ensures that the residents and workers of the FAB are not just well-trained and equipped but also healthy.

GICC, a games and amusement center which houses call center firms, has already donated a total of Php1.8 million for medical missions.

AFAB Chairman and Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda lauded the initiatives of GICC to sponsor health missions in the town every quarter of the year.

Last year 2016, this company conducted the same medical program in the towns of Hermosa and Dinalupihan.

“GICC has helped AFAB in ensuring that the labor force as well as the community here in Mariveles is provided with easy access to medical services,” Pineda said.

GICC director, retired navy Capt. Benjamin Tancio, said their company also supports the establishment of health infrastructures in the town such as the construction of a health center in Brgy. Baseco and the Bataan Drug Rehabilitation Center where GICC recently donated P1 million.
