“Giving and caring are much better when you’re enjoying”

ORANI, Bataan – The Orani Municipal Police Station together with the Orani Christian Ministerial Fellowship (OCMF) for the first time, will hold a fun run dubbed “RUN FOR A CAUSE” on May 1, 2015.

The event will kick off at the Orani Town Plaza, through Brgy. Bayan going to sitio Masapsap and back, at the town plaza. Food, music, race beverages and fun will be provided for all participants.

All proceeds from the run will be used to finance the following projects: provision of school supplies to indigent students in upland barangays, specifically from Brgy. Pag-asa of this municipality; financial support to the bereaved families of two (2) of our fallen SAF Troopers who died in the Mamasapano engagement last January 25, 2015; and to support the Cleanliness Drive by providing trash cans in the different Barangays of this town.

There will be two (2) categories, 5K and competitive 10K run; wherein the top 3 winners will be given medals. We are also looking for sponsorships who can boost our goal in this fund raising event. This event targets the mind and heart of each individual in the community to stay healthy not only in physically but also spiritually. “Giving and caring are much better when you’re enjoying”.

Aside from the fun run, participants will also have a chance to win raffle items or gift certificates from our sponsors. For zumba enthusiasts, we have good news for you! We will have a warm up event before the run with zumba instructors. So come early and enjoy the entire event.
