Leadership conference held at BPSU

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Around 250 officers of the student councils of the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) held a one-day leadership conference here last week, coinciding with the International Youth Day celebration.

Notable resource speakers including Bataan Provincial Information Office/Management Information System Office Head Geoffrey C. Loyola discussed a wide array of topics including governance, spirituality, social entrepreneurship, public information, and volunteerism. A social challenge was also incorporated in the leadership conference.

Bryan Z. Reyes, BPSU University Student Council President, said it was the first time for the university student councils officers to hold such leadership conference. He said they are planning to repeat the conference next year. He added BPSU President Greg Rodis supported said leadership conference.

Participants of the conference were officers of the University of Student Councils and Student Councils from the 6 campuses of the university: Main, Balanga, Abucay, Dinalupihan, Orani, and Bagac.
