In his courtesy call on the Mayors’ League president, Engr. Dimalawang told Mayor Garcia that his office will provide maximum support for personnel and other equipment for the immediate implementation of their own infrastructure and flood control projects. “I assured Mayor Gila Garcia that the DPWH will always extend support to their programs for the benefit of the people of Bataan”.
“Mabait kausap si Mayor Gila at humble, prangka at madaling pakisamahan, kaya full support din kami sa kanyang leadership,” stressed Engr. Dimalawang, saying he is also set to pay a courtesy call on Rep. Minia Roman and the other mayors in his district.
A native of Marawi City but grew up in Metro Manila, the former DE of the Las Pinas-Paranaque area, Dimalawang swapped with Engr. Wilfredo Mallari, who also took over the post of the former in the latest revamp launched by the DPWH hierarchy.
District Engr. Reynaldo Venturina, his counterpart in Bataan Second district, expressed confidence that Engr. Dimalawang can do it better here, saying he is a veteran engineer in the bureau who can easily adjust to satisfy the whims and caprices of the public.
“Kilala ko si Engr. Dimalawang noong nasa Manila pa kami; magaling siya at mabait,” added Engr. Ric Yuzon, Head of the Provincial Engineers’ Office in Bataan.
