“We are upgrading our facilities to serve our members better”.
ORANI, Bataan – Orani Water District (OWD) General Manager Benni Andres said they are targeting to finish this year the 5 component- upgrade of their facilities.
He said that the first component, well drilling has already been completed, while the second component, civil works has already started.
Andres updated that they are already in the last stages of the bidding process for the reservoir project. The glass-fused-to-steel reservoir will be much bigger than the existing tanks of the water district. It will be built in the boundary of Barangays Mulawin and Pag-asa.
The other two components of works are Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and leak detection and monitoring set, both to be scheduled for bidding.
The P101 million fund being used for the 5-component works, came from a loan at KFW Bank in Germany though Local Water Utilities Administration.
Andres said they are upgrading facilities to serve their members better.
