OWD’s 1 million -liter tank capacity readied

ORANI, Bataan – A top official of the Orani Water District (OWD) revealed that a new water tank that can accommodate at least 1 million liters of water will be finished anytime to better serve its consumers.

Benigno “Benny” Andres, general manager of OWD, said that they are now rushing the completion of their new huge water tank , saying “it will be finished anytime from now.”

Andres said that said water tank was actually designed for the expansion program of the water district, including the proposed servicing in the nearby towns of Samal and Abucay.

Residents of Abucay and Samal had earlier sought the services of OWD, which prompted the OWD management to program its expansion all the way to Samal and Abucay.

Said expansion program, however, will be delayed a little bit pending the availability of funds still to be secured by the OWD.
