PNP-Bataan urges youth: Join the force

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – As the province sits on a “generally peaceful” setting due to robust police security, the Bataan Provincial Police Office is encouraging young men and women to join the force by taking the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Cadet Admission Test.

“Lower crime rates are being recorded day by day in Bataan and it is a good sign that we are continuously living in a generally peaceful province,” PNP-Balanga City chief PSupt. Frederick Obar said during the Police Hour program over Poweradio 104.5 FM.

A project of PNP and Philippine Information Agency-Bataan, the Police Hour radio program airs the accomplishments, announcements and crime prevention measures of city and municipal police stations in the province spearheaded by PNP-Bataan Director PSSupt. Rhodel Sermonia.

With this palpable efficiency of police force in Bataan, young men and women are called to take the PNPA Cadet Admission Test. The deadline for submission of application is on September 25, and the schedule of examination is slated October 25, 7:00 am.

Applicants must be natural-born Filipino citizen; at least 18 years old but not more than 22 years old by April 15, 2016; single with no parental obligation; high school graduate upon application; at least 5’4” in height for male and 5’2” for female; with weight that corresponds to the applicant’s height, gender and age; and physically and mentally fit for cadetship training.

Other requirements include no criminal, administrative and civil derogatory record; no pending complaint or case before any tribunal; not a former cadet of PNPA or other similar institutions; and not have been dismissed from any private employment or government position for a cause.

PNP-Bataan information officer PInsp.
