PSA Bataan Joins Dalaw Barangay in Binukawan

BAGAC, Bataan – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Bataan in coordination with the Local Civil Registry Office of Bagac conducted mobile registration activity as part of Dalaw Barangay Project of the Municipality of Bagac held at Binukawan Barangay Hall last June 2, 2015.

Maria Theresa Dinglasan, attended to the clients who need to process the unregistered and problems with their civil registry documents. Clients can right away file for delayed registration or application for Republic Act 9048, 9255 and 10172.

Ledesma L. Morante, Provincial Statistics Officer also had the opportunity to coordinate to the barangay officials and make information campaign to the clients about the 2015 Census of Population which will start on August 1, 2015.

Dalaw Barangay is a project of the Municipality of Bagac which brings the social services closer to the barangays. Medical services and mobile registration are two of the highlights of the activity. Dr. Ann Ysabel Gonzales is the Municipal Health Officer who’s in charge of the medical mission while Ms. Mylin B. Ricard is the Municipal Civil Registrar who’s in charge of the mobile registrar.

PSA, formerly known as the National Statistics Office (NSO) carries out, enforces and administers the Commonwealth Act 3753 in the delivery of civil registration services as directed by Republic Act 10625, while the local registrar shall keep and preserve in the office civil registry documents which include marriages as mandated by CA 3753.
