23 mentees presented at the launching of “Kapatid Mentor Me” program

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Twenty three (23) mentees/entrepreneurs were presented by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at the launching of their newest program, “Kapatid Mentor Me,” last Friday at Lou-is restaurant.

According to Mam Nelin Cabahug, Head of DTI Bataan, the “Kapatid Mentor Me” program, in partnership with the Phil. Center for Entrepreneurship Inc – Go Negosyo, aims to help our micro and small entrepreneurs to elevate their business thru coaching and mentoring by top business owners and practitioners who have been successful in their businesses and have undergone the same training.

The 23 lucky mentees from all over Bataan, screened and selected by DTI to undergo the program are Aileen Santiago, Ma. Victoria Duran, Ms. Penaflor, Pamela Santos, Flora Johnson, Ma. Lourdes Carlos, Marjorie Samaniego, Nenita Panopio, Emmer Beltran, Gladys Torcadilla, Emily Carreon, Dr. Sylvia Santos, Marlon Pabustan, Nida Gulen, Alfonso Cortez, Paula Nica Pilar, Imelda Baluyot,  Lovilla Brondial, Lea Guinto and Dominico Campanya Jr.,.

DTI Asst Secretary Blesilda A. Lantayona said that the mentees will be under the program, “Kapatid Angat Lahat” wherein they will have the opportunity to gain confidence in their businesses and actively take part in a growing economy, contributing to the solution of poverty and unemployment problems.

Prominent speakers, Ms. Sheryll Ramos-Quintana tackled the topic, “Entrepreneurial Mind Setting and Values Formation”, Ms. Ann Giannina F. Ong talked about Marketing and Marketing trends. They both inspired and challenged the mentees, that they too, can do it.
