CSC confers Pag-asa Award to OWD Innovators Team

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office Bataan has conferred the Pag-asa Award to Orani Water District (OWD) Innovators Team during the 2016 Bataan Circle of Heroes ceremony, this city on Friday.

Benni Andres, general manager of OWD, said belonging to the awarded OWD Innovators Team are eight permanent employees Sheila R. Milante,  Industrial Relations Management Officer; Rustico D. Buenaventura,  Project Planning and Development Officer;  Angelito C. Lintag,  Jr., Engineering Assistant; Michael C. Mendoza,  Customer Service Assistant; Bernard R. Milante, Development Officer; Gina S. Palomo, Customer Service Assistant; Ramil S. Santos Senior Water/ Sewerage Maintenance Man; and Marcelino S. Sebastian Jr., Project Planning and Development Officer.

He said the members of their Innovators Team exhibited brilliant and noteworthy innovations that showcase advances in business applications and information technologies that have been contributing significantly in the improvement of the internal business processes at the water district.

He added the team has established an effective performance monitoring and evaluation tool as well as information reporting systems that facilitates the linkage between organizational and employee performance.

The Civil Service Commission Pag-asa Award is conferred to an individual or group of individuals for outstanding contribution resulting from an idea or performance which directly benefit more than one department of the government.
