Poster making nat’l champion BCS stude recognized

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Bataan Christian School (BCS) student John Mc Craven A. Gaspar was recognized during the traditional flag ceremony at the Bataan People’s Center this morning, for clinching the championship trophy in poster making contest of Pambansang Labanan sa Isip, Sining, at Panitikan (PALAISIPAN 2018).

Gaspar competed at the University of the Philippines – Los Baños Campus in Laguna on February 25, and defeated his competitors from all around the country.

This year’s PALAISIPAN was themed: “SPEAK UP! Confronting the Reality Behind the Mental Health in the Philippines,” which served as an advocacy for breaking the stigma towards mental health issues.

Gaspar was accompanied by his family and the principal of Bataan Christian School, Mrs. Armida P. Fabregas.
