Batino’s search

Right after their October 12 game against Rizal here at the Bataan People’s Center, a boy suffering from cerebral palsy painstakingly entered the hard court to approach his idol Ryan Batino to ask for a jersey.

At that time, Batino had no extra jersey to spare but the boy’s interest in the sport and support to the team, despite his being differently abled, made an impact to the team, especially to Batino. This is an appeal to the public to help Batino locate the boy so that he can have the jersey that he was requesting.

On a related development, despite his earnest desire to make his much awaited comeback at the hard court, El Granada Gary David still has not secured a clearance due to his injury – bone spur in his left midfoot, to make said come back; but he wants to assure the public that he will be back at the hardcourt soon.
In keeping with its name, Bataan Risers keeps rising, in fact, it now occupies the 4th slot in the current Lakan Cup of the MPBL season.
