PHO goes all out on eradicating TB cases in Bataan

The IPCC uses a variety of teaching-learning methods that include lectures, clinical practice, work in small groups with discussion, reading, role-playing and skills practice exercises. The participants progressively develop their communication and counseling skills in the classroom setting and then practice them with actual TB clients/patients in their rural health units and barangay health centers.

These trainings started on July 7 to 8, 2014 at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. The most recent was held last August 4 to 5, 2014 at the Mansion Garden Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. Succeeding IPCC trainings are scheduled on October 6 to 7, 2014 and October 13 to 14, 2014 to be held also at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel.

The expenses for meals and hotel accommodation for the conduct of the activity were charged against the NTP fund while transportation expenses of the participants were shouldered by their respective sending agencies.
