ORION, Bataan – The Magic Leaf Marine Logistics Corporation in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan held the trial run of the proposed ferry-bus transportation system from Bataan to Manila and vice versa this morning, May 9, 2017 at the Port of Orion.

The Magic Leaf Marine Logistics Corporation is a Public-Private Partnership proponent for a ferry-bus transportation system to be operated in the province of Bataan. To have a better understanding of Magic Leaf’s proposal, a 15-20 minute trial run at the Port of Orion and presentation of the proposed ferry-bus transportation system was held.

Gov. Albert S. Garcia in his inspirational message to the Bataeños, declared that this day is one of the most historical days of Bataan. Afterwards, Mr. Goody Ilagan Jr., President of Magic Leaf, presented the proposal for the ferry-bus transportation system. Some important matters that he discussed were the following: the travel route, the proposed schedule of routes, the season tickets packages, and the most attention-getter of all details: the length of travel between Bataan and Manila that takes only an estimated time of 45 minutes.

After the presentation and the lunch buffet, the attendees were asked to board the vessel itself in order for them to be the first to experience riding what the Magic Leaf is offering for the transportation system. This will also familiarize and orient them on the proposed project.

Invited in the said event were the local government officials of Bataan, owners and executives of  businesses, and other major stakeholders in the province.
