BPO firm expands PH operations in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Genpact, the architect of the Lean Digital enterprise, on Thursday bared its plans to begin thier operations in this component city.

In a news briefing, Dan Reyes, country manager of Genpact Philippines said the site in Balanga City will add to Genpact’s extensive services delivery footprint in the Philippines.

At present Genpact employs 5,000 in two campuses in Muntinlupa City and Quezon City. Genpact is working closely with the local governments of Bataan and this city to successfully establish the new site.

”We plan to start operations in June next year, but we will be engaged in recruiting and site building beginning this month. We will initially hire up to 300 employees based at this new center, ” Reyes told local newsmen.

Reyes also cited that Bataan, especially the City of Balanga, offer significant economic benefits to Genpact’s business including a large talent pool from which to build this center that will serve a number of their key global clients that belong to the world’s top 1000 corporations.

“We are excited to become the first and leading business process and technology management services company to establish operations in Bataanand provide great employment opportunities to local professionals,” Reyes added.

Genpact initially plans to lease 3400 square meters of space at the site located inside the third level of Starmall Prima Bataan in Barangay Cupang of this city.
