BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), through its Research and Development Office (RDO), and in partnership with the Philippine Association of Agriculturists, Inc.-Central Luzon Chapter (PAA-CL), is now holding the 1st National Conference on Food, Environment, Engineering & Technology (NCFEET) from November 22-24, 2017 at Patio Isidora, Lou-Is Resort & Restaurant, this city.
Anchored on the theme “Enabling S&T- Innovations for Sustainable and Globally Competitive Agriculture,” this conference aims to facilitate dissemination of the research innovations and breakthroughs among research institutions and HEIs in the country.
The event features plenary sessions, oral paper presentations and poster competitions. Having PAA as a co-sponsor of the event, agriculturists who are participating on this endeavor shall earn equivalent Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units as PAA is the lone CPD provider for agriculturists.
Meanwhile, resource persons with distinct tract record and achievements in each of the thematic areas are invited as plenary speakers. Preferably, the speakers came from the national and international funding research agencies, to name a few are Dr. Carlos Primo David of DOST-PCIEERD, Dr. Lily Ann D. Lando of the WorldFish-Philippines and Ms. Gina Lopez, an environmental advocate and head of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation. The keynote speaker however came from the CHED central office.
