BALANGA CITY, Bataan — As population and the number of industries in the province grow, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) links Bataeños to hundreds of jobs through the Trabaho, Negosyo at Kabuhayan Caravan.

The caravan held last May 5 at Vista Mall, this City, offered various job opportunities in the service and manufacturing industries, both are huge job generators especially in the international and local companies located in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).

The province’s population rose to 760,650 according to the 2015 census, translating to about two percent increase annually.

Meanwhile, job opportunities abound in the province’s economic zones such as the FAB, Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park, and Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Bataan also participated in the caravan and garnered a total of 108 walk-in clients.

“We provided clients with information on different services such as business consultation and guidelines on starting small business,” DTI-Bataan OIC Nelin Cabahug said.

The agency likewise offered job applications for their Negosyo Centers. “The Negosyo Centers are responsible for promoting ease of doing business and facilitating access to services for micro, small and medium enterprises,” Cabahug explained.
