Mayor Garcia to implement “Personalized Global Classroom”

CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan- Neophyte Mayor Francis S Garcia wants to implement the “Personalized Global Classroom” in this city, in his bid to further boost the education program to his constituents.

Inspired by the ongoing education programs being implemented by his older brothers-incumbent Governor Abet Garcia and Congressman Joet Garcia, Mayor Francis Garcia said that he is bent on adopting Khan Academy’s “Global classroom that empowers coaches of all kinds to better understand what the children or students are up to and how best to help them.”

“There are drop out students who became valedictorians due to Khan’s academy’s education techniques, and I want this education program to be implemented in Balanga City,” Mayor Garcia said.

Started by their late father, former Governor and Congressman Tet Garcia, the Garcias are known to be champions in education programs, sponsoring the scholarship of thousands of poor but deserving students in Bataan for years, giving financial and infrastructure support to schools and universities in the province.

Mayor Garcia added that this personalized learning resource for all ages program of Khan Academy is beneficial to all who want to avail it and that he is bent on implementing it in the barangays of Balanga.

In its website, “Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.” Khan Academy also tackles math, science, computer programming, history, art, history, economics, and more.
