PGB bags SGLG Award for four consecutive years

On behalf of the Provincial Government of Bataan, Governor Abet Garcia received the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) award for the fourth consecutive time, in the 5th Seal of Good Local Governance awarding ceremonies anchored on the theme “All-in: Sustaining the Gains of Local Governance, attended by 380 local chief executives from all over the country at the Manila Hotel last November 5.

Also accepting the awards for their respective local government units were Balanga City Vice Mayor Vianca Gozon, Bagac Mayor Ramil del Rosario, Dinalupihan Mayor Gila Garcia, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton, Orani Mayor Efren Pascual Jr, Pilar Mayor Charlie Pizarro and Samal Mayor Aida Macalinao.

This year, the enactment of Republic Act 11292 or the SGLG Act acknowledges the award as institutionalized recognition and incentive program where awardees were given Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) which is now rebranded as SGLG incentive fund together with the SGLG marker.
