Tara Na sa Norte 2016

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Last weekend, August 5-7, 2016, the Province of Bataan in partnership with Camaya Coast joined the 8^th NLEX Tara na sa Norte Tourism and Travel Fair held at the Glorietta Activity Center, Ayala Center in Makati City.

Aside from the successful eight (8) years of conducting such event, Manila North Tollways Corporation (MNTC) also celebrated its ten (10) years of tourism advocacy.

The opening ceremony was graced by Undersecretary Alma Rita Jimenez of the Department of Tourism (DOT); Hon. Abigail Binay, Makati City Mayor; MNTC President Rodrigo Franco and Asst. Vice President for Marketing Grace Ayento; Vice President Myrna Fernandez of Ayala Malls; and DOT Regional Directors.

The program was highlighted by the message of DOT Secretary Wanda Teo, read by USEC Jimenez, that emphasizes the continuous unity and years of working together towards the development and strengthening of the tourism industry.

The closing remarks from Ms. Ayento left a challenge and words of inspiration to everyone. “Your Journey to the north is just starting. We urge you to sample what the north has to offer.

North Philippines is one of the choice destinations in the country through our fruitful partnership, kaya Tara nang Kumain, Tara nang Mamasyal, Saan? TARA NA SA NORTE! “

The three (3) day event was also participated by Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar and successfully bagged the Best Booth and Best Booth Staff awards. Tara na sa Bataan!, we are excited to see you and let you experience what the peninsula has to offer!
