AFAB, DTI-STMO hold awareness forum on Strategic Trade Management Act

Representatives from FAB-Registered Enterprises and personnel of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Enterprise Assistance Division and Ports Services Division attended the Strategic Trade Management Act (STMA) Awareness Forum held on September 18.

AFAB, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry–Strategic Trade Management Office (DTI-STMO) conducted  the forum as a key initiative to strengthen strategic trade practices.

DTI-STMO Assistant Division Chief Chloe Andrea Anacan spearheaded the activity providing expert guidance.

The forum underscored  the importance of the STMA and its implementing rules and regulations, particularly for enterprises engaged in the trade of strategic and dual-use goods.
