Livelihood packages for Balanga Kadiwa members

As part of the “Serbisyong Mapagkalinga” program of Balanga City Mayor Raquel Garcia and in celebration of Vice Mayor Francis Garcia’s birthday on October 5, livelihood packages were awarded to selected Kadiwa members to support their small businesses.

The beneficiaries included Arthur Olivera, Angelina De Lara, Yolly Laborcero, Mera Anne Alvero, and Patricia Bayangos. They each received ₱30,000 worth of goods and supplies from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to boost their livelihood initiatives.

Also present in the awarding ceremony were Board Member Jovy Banzon, Councilor Jowee Nisay, and DOLE Provincial Director Joey Sicat.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Mayor Raquel and Vice Mayor Francis for the assistance.
