Balanga employees undergo ICT Trainings

Balanga City Mayor Raquel Garcia commended employees who participated in one-day ICT trainings.

In line with her vision to make Balanga a fully developed Smart City, the lady mayor said the activity enhanced the digital competencies of their employees and strengthen their capacity to effectively integrate technology.

The training sessions were “AI-Enabled Productivity & Collaboration with Google Workspace & Gemini” facilitated by Ross Lombos (Google) and “PNPKI Overview and Installation Procedure” conducted by Cielo Alfonso (DICT Bataan).

It was held at the audio- visual room city hall on October 14.

The two ICT trainings for employees were organized by the Management Information Services (MISO) Office headed by Roneth Santos.

DICT Bataan Head Dale Martensen in his opening remarks said the ongoing programs of the DICT are backing the digital transformation of the province and the City of Balanga.

Sangguniang Panlungsod Chairman of the ICT Committee Councilor Pedro Yuzon thanked employees for their support.
