The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) needs more modern fire station buildings to perform its proactive fire prevention measures.
This was among the issues brought up during the joint meeting of Provincial Peace and Order (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) last January 30 at the Bunker.
Presided over by Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia, the meeting touched on the crucial issue of preventive measures to ensure public safety and protect lives as well as properties.
The BFP official emphasized during the said gathering that funding support for the agency is necessary for the purchase of BFP-related equipment particularly in rapid developing and high-risk areas.
The PPOC shared updates on peace and order efforts in the province, anti-insurgency and ELCAC programs, anti-drug initiatives, and community welfare activities.
The LGUs, law enforcement agencies and partner stakeholders vowed strong cooperation in keeping Bataan peaceful and resilient.
