Bataan gets multiple recognitions at TRES Awards 2025

The Province of Bataan, through the Provincial Tourism Office, received several awards during the Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders (TRES) Awards 2025 held on March 27, 2026, at the Premier Ballroom of Best Western Plus Metro Clark.

Bataan was Grand Winner for Most Outstanding Destination Marketing Campaign for its “Behold Bataan” campaign received by Provincial Tourism Officer Danica Lolita Tigas. Said award recognized the province’s promotional efforts in marketing Bataan as a tourism destination.

The province was also recognized as a Mabuhay Awards Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Advocate, citing its support for quality Filipino hospitality in the tourism sector. In addition, Bataan was Second Runner-Up for Tourism Statistics Champion, highlighting its efforts to support tourism development through data and monitoring. Mabuhay Award FBSE Recognition was also conferred to Bataan for passing a resolution in support of the Mabuhay Gesture, an initiative that promotes hospitality and respect in tourism-related services.

La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort, one of Bataan’s well-known resorts located in Bagac, was likewise recognized with the Mabuhay Award Excellence in Hospitality (Star Rating) for its service and guest experience.

TRES Awards is an annual event that recognizes the contributions of tourism stakeholders across Central Luzon. These recognitions add to the province’s ongoing efforts to position Bataan as one of Central Luzon’s key tourism destinations.
