Bataan 2nd District Representative Albert S. Garcia heaped praises on the war veterans and thanked them for their bravery and sacrifice in defending democracy during World War II.

Cong. Abet who was among the guest speakers during the “Parangal sa mga Beterano” at the Bataan People’s Center on Tuesday said because of what the veterans did in the last World War, Bataan is now reaping what they sow-peace and progress.

“You propelled the province of Bataan to what it is now– we stand at ease with triumph and dignity,” the former provincial governor said, facing the 13 surviving veterans with their relatives.

“Kayo ang simbolo ng kapayapaan at kaunlaran at ito ang dahilan na magkakaroon ng proyekto katulad ng Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge,” dagdag pa ni Cong. Abet.
