Gov. Garcia meets with BEC execs

Gov. Joet Garcia recently met with officers of Basic Energy Corp., a company known for its dealing with renewable energy across the country, to find ways to maintain a lower transportation cost in the province.

The chief executive discussed with BEC the prospect of adopting the “Iwas Taas Pamasahe E-Transport Solutions Program” to keep transportation cost at popular cost that would be beneficial to the riding public.

The move is part of Provincial Government’s effort to save on fuel more so in this time of economic crisis brought about by the Middle East war.

The discussion tackled the possibility of throwing support to transportation cooperatives through electric bus that would operate on battery. The solarization of public schools to minimize the cost of power consumption was also discussed and eventually, additional number of charging stations was considered.
