“Maraming salamat po sa Brgy. Mabatang sa pangunguna ni Kapitan Potenciano Dominguez sa maagap na serbisyong publiko” – Gob. Abet S. Garcia
ABUCAY, Bataan – The heavy rains brought by monsoon rains or “habagat” all throughout Sunday night and early Monday morning that caused flooding in low-lying areas in at least five towns (Abucay, Samal, Orani, Hermosa and Dinalupihan) of the province, prompted Gov. Albert Garcia to suspend classes in all levels in both public and private schools in the entire province today.
One of the areas affected by the flash floods is Barangay Mabatang in this town. To ensure the safety of the motorists traversing the Roman Expressway, Barangay Captain Potenciano Dominguez led his constituents in clearing said portion of the expressway. Said prompt action is lauded by Gov. Garcia himself. As always, personnel of the Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) under Chairman Charlie Pizarro are there to lend the much needed helping hand.
