APCAS gift-giving at Bani Elementary School

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – In the spirit of Christmas, parents, teachers and students of the Asia Pacific College of Advance Studies (APCAS) shared their blessings thru a gift giving activity with the 234 students of Bani Elementary School, Brgy. Cataning, this City.

The General-Parents-Teachers-Association (GPTA) officers headed by Mrs. Grace Silo and Ms. Gigi Sunga, APCAS Dean for Education, took time out from their busy schedules in giving love and joy to the less fortunate children of Bani Elem School.

Not only that the GPTA officers brought boxes of gifts, but also students brought their precious toys and clothes and other “bling-bling” to give to the kids of said school.

Mrs. Silo said that this is not their first time to hold this kind of activity, they always see to it, she added, to continue the traditional “sharing of love” every Christmas to remote places, that way, the students will not only learn how to give but more so, value how blessed they are compared to other children.

The GPTA officers were emotional in saying that they feel very happy to see the genuine smiles of the children, how excited they are for the gifts that they’ve received and enjoyed eating their favorite spaghetti, bread and drinks that the GPTA prepared for them. In turn, they sang, danced and prayed for the officers as their way of thanking them.

Ms. Brenda Gadia, principal of Bani Elementary School, in behalf of the teachers, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the GPTA officers and Ms. Gigi Sunga of APCAS for selecting their school to be the recipient/beneficiary of the gift-giving activity of Asia Pacific College of Advance Studies.
