Bataan Risers is still on the rise

Amid issues hounding the Bataan Risers, Mr. Goody Ilagan, owner of Camaya Coast came to the rescue like a knight in shining armor as the new official team owner and franchiser in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan.

In an exclusive interview with Bataan Risers LGU Coordinator Mr. Erwin Oximoso, he clarified that the Provincial Government of Bataan is not in any way accountable to issues regarding the delayed salary of players for said issue occurred when the team was still under Zetapro management.

Composing the new management of Bataan Risers are the following:
Team Director: Atty. Gary Palmero
Assistant Director: Ricky Malixi
LGU Coordinator: Erwin Oximoso
Team Manager: Joseph Loyola
Assistant Manager: Shai Ramos
Coach: Jonas Villanueva

“It’s a big adjustment for all of us, especially the players and coaching staff, but with the help of Camaya and the LGU, I am expecting an exciting journey not only for the players but for all the Bataeños as well,” Mr. Oximoso said.
Oximoso also mentioned that Governor Abet Garcia suggested that as much as possible, home grown players be included to showcase their skills and abilities. Camaya on its part has plenty of plans with regards to assisting in promoting the tourism of Bataan which is also a big help for Bataan Risers

As of press time, Bataan Risers occupies the 9th place in the North Division Category with a 7-6 standing. On September 25 Bataan Risers will be facing the Pasay Voyagers in Caloocan City.
