Concerns over the current worldwide outbreak of Corona Virus Disease -19 (COVID-19 ) which has affected the tourism and travel industry, the Provincial Tourism Office is creating a promotional and marketing scheme that would explore other significant opportunities for the province.
Mrs. Alice D. Pizarro, provincial tourism officer, has stressed the province had achieved a high level performance in visitors arrival of more than one million local and foreign tourists registered three years ago.
She underscored the importance of giving emphasis on naturally-developed environmental tourism located in the mountain resorts of upland villages of Orani, Mariveles, Bagac and Morong towns and the improvement of long-stretch of the coastal areas of the province as alternative options to mitigate the downfall of tourism market.
With the proposed positive outlook to overcome the COVID-19 problem on tourism and travel, visitors and excursionists are expected to fully appreciate its growing ecological and industrial status of being a premier investment hub in Central Luzon.
