The Bataan Provincial Statistical Office (BPSO) celebrated the 30th National Statistics Month with the theme “Data Innovation: Key to a Better Nation” attended by both private and public sectors at Lou-is Restaurant last October 11, 2019.
BPSO Chief Statistical Specialist Ledesma Morante and Statistical Analyst Allan Bruno explained the innovations being implemented by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) such as the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), Computer Assisted Processing Interview (CAPI) and the recent pilot registration of national ID in San Fernando, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija.
1Bataan Editor-in-Chief Aida Rubiano talked about Innovations in Communications while AMA Computer Learning Center (ACLC) representative Edibeth Manalaysay shared to the attendees the current trends in E-learning.
PSA staff also explained the use of OPENSTAT where statistical data-related information can be accessed through www.openstat.psa.gov.ph.
