BPSU swimmers represent Phil in Italy

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Four world-class Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) swimmers represent the Philippines in the 30th Summer Universiade in Napoli, Italy.
Currently competing are student-athletes John Paul De Guzman, Girome Pambid, Jie Lord Isanan, and Marriane Gallardo, based on the message to this writer of BPSU Balanga Campus Director Romeo who accompanied the players abroad.

Federation of School Sports Associations of the Philippines conducted the qualifying competition in the country, he said.
The 30th Summer Universiade is being participated by more than 8,000 student- athletes coming from more than 120 countries around the globe.
Nisay who is also the concurrent BPSU Sports Director also said the student-swimmers are very thankful to BPSU Pres. Greg Rodis for his all-out support to them.
Swimming coach Francis Gallardo also joined the student-athletes in Italy.
