Orani distributes free school supplies

The Municipal Government of Orani officially kicked off the distribution of free school supplies to students on Tuesday, June 2, as part of its continuing efforts to support education and help families prepare for the upcoming school year.

The distribution coincided with parents’ orientation activities in several schools across the municipality, allowing parents and guardians to receive important information about the opening of classes while students benefited from the school assistance program.

Mayor Jon Arizapa said the initiative aims to ease the financial burden on families and ensure that learners are equipped with the basic materials they need as they return to school. The program forms part of the local government’s commitment to promoting accessible and quality education for all.

According to the mayor, investing in education remains one of the municipality’s top priorities, emphasizing that every child deserves an opportunity to learn and succeed regardless of economic circumstances.

The distribution is expected to continue in other schools in the coming days, with local officials expressing hope that the assistance will help motivate students and strengthen the community’s shared goal of building a brighter future through education.
