BPTCFI, Pacsafe Turtle Fund awardee

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – PACSAFE, a highly reliable anti-theft travel gear brand, finally opened its first flagship store in the world, at Glorietta 5 Ayala Malls in Makati City.

The launching started with a performance by Graceson, a singer/songwriter from Newcastle, England, followed by the message and presentation of the story behind Pacsafe by Mr. Magnus McGlashan, President and one of the founders of Pacsafe.

One of the highlights of the event was the awarding of the Pacsafe Turtle Fund to the Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation, Inc (BPTCFI) represented by Ms. Vicky S. Garcia, Chairperson, Ms. Isabel Garcia and Arch. Christina B. Banzon.

“The Pacsafe Turtle Fund is the Corporate Social Responsibility that supports various conservation advocacies by providing annual funding grants. This perfectly represents our heartfelt tribute to this amazing marine animal,” says Eros Enriquez, Marketing Manager of Pacsafe Philippines.

Ms. Garcia assured the management of Pacsafe that the kick-off fund will be used in the protection and propagation of the marine life, specifically as a support to the province’s advocacy, to Help Save the Pawikan.

As a simple token, the BPTCFI and the Provincial Tourism Office headed by Arch. Christina B. Banzon presented a Plaque of Gratitude to Mr. Rob Schlipper (CEO), Mr. Magnus McGlashan (President, Sales and Marketing) and Ms. Roshiela Sun (COO of Pacsafe Philippines). Arch. Banzon also took the opportunity to invite Pacsafe Philippines as well as other guests and mediamen to visit the Province of Bataan and experience the Pawikan Festival this coming last weekend of November 2016.

The night was ended by a serenade by the next EDM Superstars Bea Valera and Kio Priest. In Pacsafe, you are ready to travel smart and be part of their Global Marine Turtle Conservation Advocacy. #GoFearless with your travel goals!
