DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Fifty reformists, who are members of the second batch of surrenderers at the Bahay Pagbabago of this town, received their certificates of completion in simple graduation rites held recently.
Bataan PNP Provincial Director Benjie Silo said that, among the 14 reformation centers in the province, PNP Region 3 finds the Dinalupihan Bahay Pagbabago as the most organized and with the most support given by the local government unit and other sectors, and will be replicated as the model center for the entire region.
Silo said that the center offers a well round assistance from different non-government sectors, and enjoys the 100% support of the local government unit.
Mayor Gila Garcia, in her message said that she wants all the reformists to remember three (3) things: First, everybody has his/her own problem, not only theirs, that there is always GOD and their family to save and help them.
Second, that at the Bahay Pagbabago, the Mayor emphasized, the opportunity to change is being extended to them and even urged everybody to play their role for that change.
Third, that graduations are not the end but are always the start of a new beginning.
The lady Mayor added that, she knows how hard it will be for the reformists to “face the world” again, hence the “lifeline” of assistance particularly that from the local government unit as well as from other agencies is available for them until such time that they believe they’re able to stand on their own feet again.
With the PNP and the Municipality of Dinalupihan town, other representatives from the different agencies present were the religious sector, Provincial Health Office, TESDA, DILG and Office of Congresswoman Geraldine Roman of the First District of Bataan.
