In its bid to prevent another disease outbreak, the Local Government of Dinalupihan through the Municipal Health Office (MHO) has geared up to block the looming risk of dengue outbreak in town during this rainy season.
As dengue symptoms are almost indistinguishable from COVID-19 such as fever, rashes, headaches, and muscle pain, it is really important that both diseases be immediately addressed.

As part of the DOH “Deng-get out” campaign, Dinalupihan MHO has started coordinating with barangay officials to enforce preventive measures such as fogging and clean-up operations in their respective areas. They have also conducted mass blood donation in case of an outbreak.

Meanwhile, market schedule, social distancing and wearing of face mask are still strictly enforced as the threat of COVID-19 continues. Disinfection is regularly conducted in barangays including churches that are preparing for the resumption of regular religious activities since Bataan is now under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ-medium risk).
