The “One Bataan Seal of Healthy Barangay” aims to give cash incentive worth P50,000 per month for any of 237 barangays (villages) in Bataan with no case of dengue, measles, animal bite, maternal death and with complete data on cases of diabetes and hypertension.

The DOH official likewise, cited the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Ordinance No. 7 series of 2019 that concerns health care which was sponsored by former Board Member Aristotle Gaza.
Bataan Gov. Abet Garcia said the said health program should spell success this being a pilot project in the province. The “One Bataan Seal of Healthy Barangay” is first of its kind in the Philippines.
The program coincides with the Universal Health Care Law which was recently passed by the Lower House and the Senate.
Laxamana said only the Philippines so far has its own Universal Health Care Law.
