DOLE holds post Labor Day job fair in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Around 8,500 job vacancies (7,720 local and 780 overseas) are up for grabs in today’s Labor Day Job Fair in this component city from 39 participating companies (28 local and 11 overseas).

“After our successful job fair last May 1, we will be having this post Labor Day Job Fair today, May 6 at the Sari-Gamit Covered Court inside the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Main Campus here in Balanga City,” Jerry Borja, Information Officer, DOLE Central Luzon told 1bataan.com

Borja advised that job applicants should be fully prepared by wearing the proper attire and bring multiple copies of their resume, school credentials and other pertinent pre-employment documents. Last Friday, a total of 2,475 jobseekers from all over Central Luzon were hired on the spot in DOLE’s recently concluded region-wide Labor Day Job Fairs.

The job fair was co-organized by DOLE with the Provincial Government of Bataan and PESO-Bataan in partnership with SSS, TESDA, POEA and PhilHealth.
