Under the slogan “Alaga ka para sa maayos na buhay”, Mayor Garcia said in her speech that the granting of Philhealth cards to the indigents was a program of Pres Aquino to help the poor patients in their hospitalization and other medical needs.
“Ang programang pangkaligtasan at kalusugan ay para sa ikauunlad ng bayan,” stressed the lady mayor who also quoted the President’s popular slogan “kayo ang boss ko.”
This was likewise supported by Gov Garcia who said that this is part of Pres Aquino’s universal health program.
“Hindi lang ang mga card bearer ang mabibiyayaan dito kundi ang buong pamilya,” said the bachelor governor inside the jampacked Dinalupihan Civic Center.
Gov Garcia cited the unity from the national, regional, provincial down to municipal level in successfully implementing the Philhealth program of the government.
Gov Garcia further appealed to the public for unity saying “magkaisa tayo para magtagumpay.”
