Several locators are eyeing the highly-impressive business atmosphere in the periphery of historic Mount Samat “Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor) “ as feasible eco-industrial park and travel and tourism site.
Mayor Charlie Pizarro, Jr. bared the objective and systematic assessment of some Manila-based stakeholders of their desire to set up two (2) eco-industrial and commercial business ventures at the foot of Mount Samat and 500 hectares modern port facilities with light and heavy manufacturing plants with world-class amenities in three coastal villages facing Manila Bay.
The historic Mount Samat, one of the priority tourism spots in the country under the auspices of Tourism Enterprise and Infrastructure Zone Authority (TIEZA) is expected to level up into a major tourism and travel destination in a few years.
In terms of expansion areas, Mayor Pizarro explained that with the passing of Republic Act 11453, AFAB would coordinate with various local government units in the province in terms of providing meaningful employment, lessening the movement of people and promoting work-life balance by having the jobs closer to workers residences.
