ABUCAY, Bataan – Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Bataan has premiered its Christmas video entitled Ngayong Pasko Puso’y Aawit in its YouTube channel.

The heartwarming video tells the story of four individuals going back to persons whose kind deeds greatly impacted them.

A formal launching was held in the school’s audio-visual room to launch it among the members of the Letran community minutes before its online release.

“This video [productions] made by the school highlight the significance of Christmas    and to remind us of the true essence of it.” Fr. Raymund Fernando Jose of the Order of Preachers, the school’s executive vice-president, said in his opening remarks.

“Love that knows no bounds, gratitude to God for His abundant graces, sharing our blessings especially to the needy, and most especially, to celebrate the true reason of Christmas, Jesus, the Emmanuel, the God who became one with us, who is  God’s gift to us.”

The director of the video, Michael Mateo, introduced the video. “Maybe there are things we have to remember or go back to.” Mateo told the audience consisting of college and high school students as well as the parents of those students who appeared in the video.

The song is composed by Information Technology student John Michael Enriquez.

Performers of the song were the interpreters of the KANTArriba 2014 finalists, the school’s pop song writing competition held last September.

Center for Public Affiars and Media Development Director Gabriel Jessie Guevarra explained that every year since 2011, the original Christmas songs and videos has been a way for Letran Bataan to spread holiday cheers as these showcase Filipino values and traditions, making the celebration of Christmas more meaningful.

The video features its students and selected members of its faculty and staff as cast members and crew.
