Mariveles defends title for the 2nd time

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – During last night’s drum and lyre competition, held at the brightly lit European inspired Plaza Mayor de Balanga, the AGLES Drum and Lyre from Mariveles won the title for the third time.

Coming close in second place is Dinalupihan while Samal bagged the 3^rd place. This is an annual competition held as part of the series of activities in observance of the 74^th Araw ng Kagitingan.

Tonight, the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Bataan and the Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation, Inc, chaired by Mrs. Vistoria S. Garcia, will present award winning author and playwright Christine Bellen’s play, Batang Rizal at the Hotel de Oriente at the picturesque Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac.
