MARIVELES, Bataan – The P39-million highly sophisticated Mariveles Command Center has started operation in this fast-growing industrial town.
The opening of the command center was led by Gov. Abet Garcia and second district Congressman Joet Garcia on Thursday. Former Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion also joined.
“It is the first command center in the Philippines that use the WISENET SSM 2.1 Version of Korean company Samsung, and this system can use 10,000 channels” , said Bataan provincial information officer Angel Ortiz Luis.
“It uses the latest PTZ camera with 37 times optical zooming, the first in the Philippines”, she added.
“Its Fix Bullet camera can calculate water level in HD video and motion detection”, she also said.
“All cameras are HD with 14-kilometers fiber optic installed, and storage can last 1 to 2 months”, she said.
Seventy cameras are installed in lower Mariveles alone.
Ortiz Luis said Gov. Garcia pushed for the state-of-the art command center in this town for efficient peace and order monitoring as well as fast response to emergencies.
The economic zone Freeport Area of Bataan is located here.
