CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – In its commitment to support the Bataan Integrated Coastal Management Program (BICMP), Gov. Albert S. Garcia led the induction of the Bataan Coastal Care Foundation, Inc. (BCCF) Board of Trustees held at the Bulwagan ng Bayan, yesterday.
The new officers pledged to observe and maintain the highest standard of performance as a Board of Trustee of BCCFI and to uphold and protect the principles and objectives for which the foundation was founded as they work for the sustainable development of the Province of Bataan through their support to the BICMP.
The oversight committee of the board is composed of the following: Mr. Larry Seril of Philippine Resins Industries, Inc. (PRRI) for Programs; Mr. Severino Vicente David and Ms. Glenda Martinez of Herma Shipyard and Philippine National Oil Company-Alternative Fuels Corporation for Membership; Mr. Danilo Datay of Petron Corporation for Administration; Mr. Ronald Ulep of Total Philippines Corporation for Resource Mobilization; and Ms. Charmaine Canillas of Petron Foundation Inc. for Communications.
The Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), with its head, Engr. Alexander M. Baluyot, serves as the Secretariat of the Foundation.
Meanwhile, Gov. Garcia thanked the members of the BCCFI trustees for their undying efforts to sustain the BICMP environmental programs, and that he is further seeking the support of the group for the province’s endeavor of trying to beat the Guinness Book of World Records for a massive tree-planting activity that will be held on June 24, 2016.
