New MSGC officers take oath

CAPITOL GROUNDS – Newly-elected officers and members of the Multi-Sectoral Governance Coalition (MSGC) took their oath yesterday, December 18, after the flag raising ceremony.

The MSGC is an essential element of the Performance Governance System, particularly in the local government units. It is an important strategy to ensure continuity and sustainability of the transformation agenda in the province. The MSGC also guarantees the implementation of the continuous and sustainable transformation programs that are aligned to the overall strategies that will lead to the attainment of the province’s vision.

Created through Executive Order No. 82 series of 2014, Engr. Carlito Pena (PNOC Alternative Fuels), first chaired the coalition and took his first oath of office together with other officers and members last January 12, 2015. After serving for three years, the newly-elected officers and members took their oath yesterday before Governor Abet Garcia.

The new officers who took their oath are:

  • Dr. Gregorio Rodis (BPSU), Vice Chairman
  • Ms. Amanda Battad (Amanda’s Marine Products), Treasurer
  • Mr. Bryan Joseph Banzon (ABESCO), Auditor

  • Ms. Anna Marie Tuazon (BCYFC)
  • Mr. Rey Gonzales (Lions Club)
  • Forester Raymond Rivera (represented by Mr. Noel Dominguez)
  • Mr. Abul Khayr Amalon M. Alonto II (COB Investment Office)
  • Engr. Carlito Pena – outgoing MSGC-Bataan Chairman, (PNOC Alternative Fuels)
