He was previously assigned as CIDG Bataan chief in 2008 to 2010 before being transferred to their headquarters in Camp Crame as operations chief and recently, as CIDG Zambales provincial officer.
Tampis, a Masonic Lodge member, is a native of Mariveles, Bataan.
